Opera is full of passion, mystery, love, tragedy, legends, murders, trickery, and more! We bring to you a beautiful presentation of music, drama and glamour. The operatic presentation we offer can add to your existing program, or stand alone. There are additional services we offer such as piano music, piano accompanying services, fundraisers, individual and group vocal & piano instruction, referral services, etc.. (see our other pages) The diverse background of our diva, Hsiao-Ling Wang brings a fresh air to what our organization offers to the general public. Besides being a professional musician, she also has an extensive background in business planning and marketing. Miss Wang is a native of Taipei, Taiwan. She began her piano study at age five which laid down a solid foundation for her as a musician. She received her formal music education at University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Music, Vocal Arts. Throughout her career, she has been noted for her emotional and musical capacity, as well as her rich and lustrous instrument. Miss Wang has appeared in many opera productions as the soprano lead: Cosi fan tutte, The Old Maid and The Thief, Merry Wives of Windsor, Hansel und Gretel, Madama Butterfly, die Fledermaus, amongst others. Last season, she joined Orlando Opera in their production of Salome. She has also been featured as a concert soloist with symphonies and chorales in Southern California. Her concerts have been seen through out California, Long Island, Boston, Washington State, and Florida. |
